How long do resort tranfers take ?

Resort transfer times from airports in France that we cover depends on distans and weather, but a general idea is as follows:

The above is based on average resort transfer times, with good traffic and no adverse weather. Mont Blanc Transfers always do our best to get you to your ski resort, or back to the airport, promptly.


How will we find our transfer driver at the airport?

Your Mont Blanc Transfers driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall at your chosen airport. The driver will clearly display a sign board with the name of your party leader written on it. For any reason if you cannot find your transfer driver please call our office on 0033 761 38 28 46.


Do you provide child/baby seats fot the transfer?

Mont Blanc Transfers can provide child and baby seats for all ages, free of charge, to keep the young ones safe on your resort transfer. Please let us know your requirements at the time of booking.


At the airport will we have to wait for other people?

No, Mont Blanc Transfers offer a private resort transfer service for your party only. A private resort transfer service means:


I arrive and depart by train to Geneva Central Train Station but there is no option on the enquiry form to input this information. What should I do?

Enter TRAIN in the flight number arrive/depart field on the enquiry form along with your trains arrival/departure times.


I wish to depart and return to a hotel in Geneva Centre. However, there is no option to provide this information on the enquiry form. What should I do?

Enter GVA HOTEL in the flight number arrival/departure field along with your requested collection times.


I wish to travel to and from a destination that is not available on the enquiry form. What should I do?

Click on the button CONTACT US and input your travel requirement dates, times and destinations. Our office will deal with your request and and provide options available to you within 24 hours or call the number provided at the bottom of the webpage.


Can we stop at a supermarket on the way to resort?

Yes, you can request a stop at a supermarket on the transfer route, enabling you to purchase supplies for your ski/bike holiday.There is a charge of €25.00 for this service. Please ask at the time of booking as this service may not be available on the day.


What happens if our flight is delayed?

It is your responsibility to contact Mont Blanc Transfers in the event of your flight being delayed. Please inform us of the situation. Our drivers will wait for 1.5 hours at no extra cost for you. After 1.5 hours there is a fee of €25.00 per hour. This covers drivers wage and parking fees. Please note: If you are delayed for a considerable amount of time our driver may not be able to wait. May have other transfer obligations. In this case they may not be able to collect you until a later time. If you are not prepared to wait for a later transfer and wish to make other arrangements this will be at a cost to you, the client. No refund will be provided.


What happens if the driver is held up on route, when collecting us?

If your Mont Blanc Transfer driver is held up on route, due to bad weather or bad traffic, we will inform you of the situation and keep you up to date until they arrive. This happens very irregularly, as we keep a close eye on weather conditions and road traffic updates. That way our drivers usually leave within plenty of time.


Can you fit all our luggage,skis and boards?

Mont Blanc Transfers have long wheel based minibuses. Each transfer minibus has huge boot space that can take up to 8 hold bags and ski's/boards. 8 passengers fit comfortably in the seating area, so no squashing-in between bags. We have plenty of room to transport you and your ski gear to your ski resort in the French Alps.


What transfer vehicles do you have? How many people they can carry?

We have a top of the range Opel Vivaro minibuses, each with 8 passenger seats.


Do your drivers speak English?

All Mont Blanc Transfer drivers speak perfect English, so no worries about communication. Many are originally from the UK, so they will make you feel at home.


What happens if we get stuck in traffic on route to the airport?

Mont Blanc Transfers always collects you from resort well in time to get you to the airport. In busy periods we also allow extra time for the airport transfer. We will arrange to pick you up as early as is necessary. Mont Blanc Transfers makes every effort to get you to the airport on time for your flight. However, situations can arise that are way out of our control. For example bad traffic and road accidents, or heavy snow fall and other bad weather resulting in dangerous roads. In these conditions please bear with us. We try everything in our power to get you to the airport, but your safety and that of our driver is paramount to us. We therefore will NOT put anyone in the vehicle at risk to catch a flight.


In heavy snow can the transfer driver get us to higher resorts?

Mont Blanc Transfer buses are all very well equipped with snow tyres and chains. All our drivers are trained in fitting snow chains in the worst conditions, and experienced in snow driving on mountain roads. We get you to your ski resort in safety, whilst you sit back and relax.
